Australia's Joanna Briggs Institute(JBI)evidence-based health care center is one of the largest evidence-based collaboration centers in the world.The institute specializes in promoting and supporting evidence-based healthcare by providing access to resources for professionals in nursing,midwifery,medicine,and allied health.In November 2016,the institute developed 13 critical appraisal tools for systematic reviews.This article focused on introducing the critical appraisal tool for diagnostic test accuracy study and economic evaluation.The tool can help researcher evaluate the methodological quality of diagnostic test accuracy study from sampling,identification of gold standard,data collection and analysis.The tool of methodological quality of economic evaluation assessed the study quality from identification of question,interventions and comparators,cost and effectiveness,measurement and analysis.
